The Garden Pathway is a Community Interest Company providing specialist, tailored, person centred horticulture therapy interventions for individuals with a range of physical and mental health difficulties.
We use the principles of Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) alongside other psychological techniques to support the Client Gardeners we work with to improve wellbeing, reduce distress, and build social connections.
The Garden Pathway works with groups of people with specific needs, including those with chronic or progressive physical health problems, and specialises in supporting people with dementia and other neurological conditions.
Each Client Gardener referred to The Garden Pathway is offered a supportive assessment where an individual formulation of need is developed and collaborative goals are set.
Gardeners are then guided to engage in one of our group programmes where The Garden Pathway therapy team will support them to achieve goals and improve their mental and physical wellbeing through horticulture.
Groups are tailored to their collective needs and those of every individual.
