The Garden Pathway is delighted to be supporting Lakefield CofE Primary School helping students to learn and grow through horticulture.
In a purpose built garden at The Vale Community Hospital, Dursley, The Garden Pathway, working alongside Down To Earth Stroud, is offering a weekly group for people diagnosed with early-mid stage dementia, in Ann’s Garden.
Every Gardener referred into the programme will be assessed and staff will work alongside them using principles of person-centred care, to fulfil individualised goals.
This group is particularly suited to those who may be experiencing loneliness, social isolation or mental health difficulties as a result of COVID and associated lockdowns or due to the impact of their dementia diagnosis. Every group is of 2 hours duration and will run for 10 consecutive weeks.
